ABOUT US
The Zeta Sigma chapter seeks to stress the idea that our brothers are not just students in the Darla Moore School of Business, but rather students at the University of South Carolina. Therefore, we plan to extend our connections outside of the business bubble and to other student organizations on campus via partnerships for social, professional, or philanthropic events.
Our chapter plans to partner with the local community and businesses in the Columbia area, as well as extend our connections across the US through other chapters of Phi Chi Theta. We recognize that every chapter of PCT has its own unique values and attributes that we can learn from.
Our
Values
Our business fraternity seeks to promote higher business education and training, along with a strong emphasis on professional development, leadership experience, networking opportunities, community service, and academic excellence. Zeta Sigma believes in the importance of developing the soft skills which are so commonly overlooked in the business world.
The Zeta Sigma Chapter of Phi Chi Theta was founded in the summer of 2018 by a small group of undergraduate students in the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. The purpose of Phi Chi Theta is "To promote the cause of higher business education and training for all individuals; to foster high ideals for everyone pursuing a career in business; to encourage fraternity and cooperation among people preparing for such careers; to stimulate the spirit of sacrifice and unselfish devotion to the attainment of such ends."

Our goal is to provide our members with the tools and experience that will allow them to be successful in any aspect of business, regardless of their major.
